Kansas State University Legends

I recently had a speaking engagement in Kansas.  I had an opportunity to take photos with 3 Kansas Sports Hall of Fame Inductees.

Per website kshof.org:

Lon Kruger inducted 1999- a two-time Big-8 Conference basketball Player-of-the-Year at Kansas State University, and the Big-8's all-time "Mr. Hustle" honoree.

Steven Henson inducted 2009- one of the state's top all-around athletes at McPherson High School before going on to become one of the greatest basketball players in Kansas State University history.

Bill Snyder inducted 2006- it's been called the "Miracle of Manhattan" or simply the greatest turnaround in college football history.  Whatever the case, when Bill Snyder was named the head coach at Kansas State on November 30, 1988, the Wildcats were arguably the worst college football program in America.  Over the next 17 seasons, they became one of best as Snyder won 136 games, lost 68, tied one and became one of the country's most respected and admired coaches.

After all these years, they still have an open door policy with their players.
